응아는 1층에서, 사랑은 2층에서

“농담처럼 들리지만.”

사실 이 공간을 설계할 때, 우리는 이 원칙을 꽤 진지하게 고민했습니다.

1층에는

모래 정원과 소파, 머니버스 안의 작은 서재 그리고 화장실이 있습니다.

모두 아주 조용하고,

그 자체로 마음이 편안해지는 공간들입니다.

반대로,

2층은 쉼과 감정의 공간입니다.

커튼으로 살짝 가릴 순 있어도,욕실엔 문이 없습니다.

넓은 창으로 햇살이 스며들고,

무엇보다 몸과 마음이 가장 민감한 시간이 머무는 곳이기 때문입니다.

우리는 이렇게 정했습니다.

조금 웃긴 말 같지만,

이 말에 고개를 끄덕이는 분들이 꽤 많았습니다.

쾌적함과 감정의 결은

분리되어야 한다는 걸,

우리 모두 어렴풋이 알고 있었던 거겠지요.

아마도 이 하루가, 자꾸 생각날지도 모릅니다.

It may sound like a joke.

But when we designed this space,

we actually thought about this principle

quite seriously.

On the first floor,

there is a sand garden, a sofa,

a small reading nook inside the minibus,

and the restroom.

Everything there is quiet.

Each space is designed

to make the 마음 feel at ease.

In contrast,

the second floor is a space for rest and emotion.

It can be softly veiled with curtains,

but the bathroom has no door.

Sunlight pours in through wide windows,

and more than anywhere else,

this is where the body and 마음

are at their most sensitive.

So we made a simple decision.

💬 Poop on the first floor.

❤️ Love on the second floor.

It may sound a little funny,

but many people find themselves

nodding in agreement.

Perhaps we all sensed it,

in our own quiet way—

that comfort and emotional sensitivity

are better held apart.
